About

My name is Mark Carr and I’m all about getting “organazized.”  I love the collaborative process in honing a showrunners and producers' vision to life, I take great pride in assisting many cooks by making the ingredients of the stew easy to access, and know that my strength is being the team’s Samwise Gamgee.

With an education at Columbia College Chicago I’ve gained over a decade of collaborating in post production facilities both in Los Angeles and remotely through the wonders of cyberspace. I’m flexible with both close collaborations as well as working with myself, the computer, and a good cup of coffee.  I’m strict on taking clear notes for the team, I’m adaptable to fast-paced ever-changing environments, and strive to address and resolve technical problems for the editor to focus on being creative.

I have experience in entering well-established and fresh shows with different departments and teams. I’ve adapted to their standards and workflows, created log books from scratch for ease of access if you’re revisiting old media/assets for a project, and through that experience met tight day-to-day deadlines where I’m taking extra work to make the production smoother.
